Grand Knight Report:

Welcome Fr Adriano, introduce yourself, we want to get him involved; thanked District Deputy for conducting installation; lots of events coming up: spaghetti dinner, trunk r treat, big breakfast, challenge 22, cor meeting, 4th degree exemplification; addressed a few highlights of supreme convention, encouraged everyone to watch supreme knight’s report, will email out link to video

 

Bills and Communication:

Nothing

 

Membership Report:

Matt is a new transfer member from Michigan

 

Financial Secretary Report:

$761 from big breakfast on $329 expenses; collected $130 in dues

 

Treasurer’s Report:

None

 

Program Director:

Spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, service 5-8, setup at 3:30/4:00, need volunteers and deserts; new big breakfast was a success, will continue with that schedule

 

Faith Director Report:

St Gregory the Great novena went well, will bring new one in Oct; Cor group meeting will be resuming this month, 9/17

 

Community Director:

The position is open

 

Life Director:

September 26 is when mail-in ballots are sent out in FL, Mike is working on educating people about Amendment 4

 

Family Director Report:

Will distribute poster sized blank sheet to CCD students for Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest, looking for ideas for prizes

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Asked knights to serve dinner at St Nicholas for parishioner celebrating 100 years; Bishop Ramza Slovak dinner November 17, $15 per person, $25 per couple; November 30 is 4th degree exemplification at Resurrection, anyone interested in taking degree needs to submit form soon, will need help with serving food, help begins ~9:00; December 18th is annual Sleuth’s Christmas dinner, cost is $61

 

Insurance Agent Report:

None

 

District Deputy Report:

Looking forward to council making star council; encouraged council to work on membership growth

New Business:

Br Ernest provided booklets on praying the rosary; October 19 is Biketober Fest 8:00-2:30, looking for help with parking, arrive at 7:00; November 16 looking to do a motorcycle ride for all 3 communities at Resurrection; November 22 8:30-12:00 national adoption day is coming back, will move forward with being a part of it again; waiting on more info on trunk r treat, want volunteers when it takes place
