Chaplain’s Message:

It was Fr Hector’s first meeting, he took the opportunity to introduce himself. He is eager to work with the council to build community.

 

Grand Knight Report:

Welcomed Fr Hector. Scotty has been called back to work and will be working Monday nights, Deputy Grand Knight George Bertsch will be filling in most months.

Knight of the Month for September is Dcn Fred Molina.

 

Membership Report:

New members were present tonight: Phil Clinkenburg, Mike McMinneman, Don Abate.

Voted on new candidates: Mark Curtis and Paul Sheeter

 

Financial Secretary Report:

Has some dues money to turn in, if you have not paid yet, turn your money in to Hank. The new membership cards have arrived.

Scotty’s parents donated $100 in honor of Dr James Farrell

 

 

Program Director:

Nothing is coming up in the coming months, the Preschool is still deciding how to handle the trunk r treat event, although we have been asked to set aside October 27 to assist with whatever that becomes. Currently hoping to start breakfasts in November. Winter Garden Christmas parade appears to be happening, we will look into registering.

 

Bills and Communication:

Nothing

 

Faith Director Report:

Remembrance rosary service planned for November 6 before 5:00 mass (starting at 4:30).

 

Community Director:

No new activity

 

Life Director:

Still looking to raise funds for billboards; JMJ Gala still looking to take place.

Dcn Fred is leaving, so a new Life Director is needed.

 

Family Director Report:

Soccer challenge is coming up and will be held with Blessed Sacrament.

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Degree will have a Slavic dinner on November 13 for members and their families. They will also take Fr Sal to Sleuth’s on I-Drive December 16. October 3 is day at the ballpark at Miami, more info on state website. $5 of each ticket goes to Knights’ wheelchair fund. 4th Degree Ceremony will take place on November 27 in downtown Orlando, more info coming.

 

Insurance Agent Report:

Brian is planning fraternal benefit night on November 18 at 7:30pm.

 

District Deputy Report:

Bob Vince is our new District Deputy; he introduced himself, although is still playing catch up. He congratulated the council on its 5 new members.

 

Unfinished Business:

“Life is Messy” books have been ordered and should arrive in December.

Idea for recycling bin was presented to Fr Hector. We will look into using fenced in space next to shed.

 

New Business:

December 11, 9am-4pm Special Olympics Golf Tournament at WDW, looking for volunteers, contact Scotty if you’re interested.
