Adoption day, looking for 5-6 people to help with food service at courthouse (don’t bring anything with you); looking for great turnout for Special Olympics opening ceremony
Faith Director Report:
Triliangual rosary weekly on Thursday after 8:00 mass; Cor meeting tomorrow; the Brazilian community is hosting a Novena and Feast of Our Lady Aparecida from October 3 to October 12, the Novena will be held daily from Friday, October 3, to Saturday, October 11, most sessions are scheduled for 7:00 pm, with the exception of Sunday, October 5, which starts at 6:30 pm, on Saturday, October 11 a Procession of Motorcycles will kick off at 6:00 pm leading to a mass at 6:30 pm, on Sunday, October 12, there will be a special mass at 12:00 pm, presided over by Dom Carlos Lema, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of São Paulo, there will be two coronation ceremonies for Our Lady, one at 12:00 pm and another at 7:00 pm, a celebratory lunch will take place from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, tickets are available for $20 adults and $10 for children 10 and under, the menu includes Piemontese Rice, Beef with Madeira Sauce, and Green Salad, with pasta and nuggets for the kids, tickets must be purchased by end of day October 10
Community Director:
Ushers looking for new members (English and Spanish); first and second Saturdays giving out food at Christian service center; 4th Wednesday pray rosary; October 11 is a prison ministry ride up to St Augustine; Scalabrinian gala on October 18; lunch at Gleason Hall October 12; looking to hold a bocce ball tournament to raise funds for construction, more details to come; Christmas parade coming up December 6

District Deputy Report:
Blessed Sacrament is having live exemplification on Thursday; need extra help with serving the poor this coming Saturday; state raffle: $25000, $5000, and two $1000 prizes for raffle tickets, whoever sells wining tickets get prize money, council retains 40% of ticket sales
Unfinished Business:
Usher meeting is coming up October 23 6:00, council donated $200 for food; Former council Grand Knight Vince Samosky will be on the intention list for the Oct 19 10:30AM mass at RCC, his wife Janet plans to attend
New Business:
Looking to start dinner on Sunday nights; motion passed for council to donate $350 to purchase books for lecturers; WG little league changed the bats they use, asked council to purchase a new bat for $250, motion passed
