Grand Knight Report:

Ukraine relief was success (over $1,000), Easter Egg hunt was success, the last big breakfast of the season will be May 8, kids pizza party next Friday, virtual fraternal benefits June 3 and 15, special Olympics June 3-12.

New priest coming in June

 

Community Director:

Encouraging everyone to help out with US Special Olympics June 3-12, call Rob Urrutia with any questions. State Special Olympics is May 20, 21.

 

Life Director:

Still in need of life director, Laps For Life raised over $187,000 (7 ultrasound machines).

 

Family Director Report:

Easter Egg hunt was previous weekend and went off successfully. Kids Pizza Party at Hyatt Regency on May 14, welcome any volunteers.

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Ronald McDonald house is starting up again, can only have 5 volunteers, doing KFC meals. Will be doing a celebration for Blessed Ramza feast day in November. Virtual 4th Degree June 18th 11am at St Nicholas church.

 

Insurance Agent Report:

June 3 and 15 virtual seminars Ed Slott, America’s IRA Expert. Limited attendance slots. Will open to entire parish.

 

District Deputy Report:

Tough year for recruiting, SP7 needs to be submitted by end of fraternal year, State Convention is coming up, Icon program went well (2 councils presented the St Joseph Icon)

 

Unfinished Business:

Mother’s Day breakfast is this Sunday, Hank is not here, will need all the help possible; council shirts can be ordered for $35, takes a week to receive.

 

New Business:

Fr Hector asked for help with facilitating parking at June 25th Brazilian festival 3pm-11:30pm

July 4th meeting will be moved to July 18th, September meeting will be moved to September 19; motion passed to donate $100 to DD Bob Vince to help with hotel costs for convention; new seminarians will come in August, we will follow up at that time;
