Chaplain’s Message:

We are currently in year of St Joseph to commemorate 150 years Joseph has been patron saint. May St Joseph be a guide for all fathers. Thanked Knights for their presence at mass and the church.

 

Grand Knight Report:

First 2 fish fries have been successful, be mindful of your own health and adhering to all precautions, including protection and social distancing. Stations of the cross event was successful last week. Consider donating to laps for life and/or joining walking team. Thank you to brothers who distributed CRS rice bowls after mass. Welcomed our newest member, Gerardo Negron.

 

Membership Report:

No new reports beyond welcoming Gerardo. Want to look into adjusting bulletin advertising, including adding inserts to physical bulletin once able to do so again.

 

Financial Secretary Report:

Could use help with fish fries, Hank will not be there March 19. $630 made after expenses.

 

Program Director:

Bills and Communication:

No bills from supreme.

 

Faith Director Report:

First Stations of the Cross was canceled due to weather, week 2 was a success and will continue throughout Lent.

 

Community Director:

Not present

 

Life Director:

Laps for life is primary focus, hoping to inspire people to donate and show up to event to meet goal for event.

 

Family Director Report:

Had idea for online event for kids, but not present.

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Virtual Fourth degree exemplification happening online on March 20. All members welcome to participate. Will bring 4th degree applications to upcoming fish fries.

 

Insurance Agent Report:

Not present

 

District Deputy Report:

Gary Govanus reported on Charlie’s behalf, thanked the council for everything they’re doing and reminded about submitting state council delegates.

 

Unfinished Business:

Remind everyone of the online volunteer log. State raffle is still ongoing, if interested in tickets, contact Scotty. Looking for ideas for aluminum can recycle bin; brother Ben has idea in mind and will put it together. Remind everyone of smile.amazon.com as opportunity to donate to a charity, with FL KofC being an option.

 

New Business:

Sister Pat asked for $500 donation for confirmation bibles, motion passed. Deacon Fred may be speaking at state convention. Deacon Fred looking to order another book for council for spiritual growth, I Heard God Laugh; ordering 150 books at $1 a piece; motion passed to purchase if money is made at fish fries.
