Grand Knight Report:
Excited to welcome new members; financial secretary evaluation form needs to be signed; membership dues need to be submitted to Hank; Monday August 4 will include induction of officers; September meeting will be 9/15 due to Labor Day; traveling icon will be at Resurrection holy hour after trilingual rosary service, looking for volunteers to pick up icon and set up icon at side of altar, attend trilingual mass, pack up icon and deliver it to Clermont council; looking for more knights to attend Thursday rosary service; district meeting July 23 6:30pm at Blessed Sacrament, DGK George and FS Hank will attend; car raffle tickets sales are after each mass, looking for volunteers to help; new council shirts will be brought to next meeting for those who ordered, price has gone up

Membership Report:
Welcomed new member Dave to meeting, introduced himself; four new members, John Klinker, Matthew Royer, and seminarian Venicius Diaz, one potential new member in the works; council made triple star for first time this past financial year
Financial Secretary Report:
Bills $1076.60 state per capita; supreme per capita $314.25; Deputy Grand Knight expenses $317.26; turning in a little over 1000 from dues and sock hop money

Program Director:
September big breakfast returns on 9/14; spaghetti dinner in September to benefit preschool, looking to hold one in middle of month, more details to come at August meeting
Faith Director Report:
Thursday Rosary services ongoing, COR meetings ongoing, Q2 novena coming up at the end of the month, Bl Pier Giorgio Frassati; Chris will take icon to Clermont
Community Director:
Coming weekend is Festa Junina, $20 ticket, proceeds go to church renovations; doing breakfast at downtown Christian center two Saturdays a month, carpooling from Resurrection, open to volunteering and praying rosary with homeless every fourth Wednesday, looking for more English volunteers
Life Director:
Fr. Noe conducted a Blessing of the Sick service at Madison – Ocoee on May 29th; ~50 people participated in the Defund Planned Parenthood protest in front of the Orlando/UCF Planned Parenthood facility on June 28th; JMJ Pregnancy Center Orlando reached 87% of its Easter Campaign goal of $40,000; “Stuff the Crib” drive in progress. Have asked Rob Urutia how we close down the matching portion of this; should have ended June 30th. We will continue to collect “urgent needs” items for JMJ through July; JMJ Gala is September 20th; The annual JMJ Baby Bottle Drive will be conducted during the month of October; There is an OPS Chaplain position open at Lake CI; Kairos #75 at Lake CI is likely to be postponed until early 2026 due to lack of volunteers; The MHU Visitation Ministry at Lake CI has now reached 453 encounters since last November. We also assisted (2) inmates with post-incarceration resettlement.
Xodus Prison Release Ministry has signed up 26 inmate participants in its first week; maximum capacity is 35. First training meeting is July 26th. Next Xodus will be February 2026.
Family Director Report:
Rob Urrutia working on getting Altar Server of the month program started back up
Fourth Degree Report:
Fr Sal suggested feeding the poor as a project, will sync up with Rafael; collect personal supplies for veterans, encourage members to bring some in, will do it at big breakfast; next exemplification is first weekend in November, will be held in Ocala
Insurance Agent Report:
Looking for a new field agent, Alex has left the position, contact Rob Urrutia in the meantime
District Deputy Report:
Welcomed new district deputy Richard Madrid; thank you to Bob Higgins, all councils in district got star council (or better); Rob Urrutia is new master for 4th degree; doing raffle again, first, second, and third prizes plus other prizes, 1 ticket for $3 council keeps 40%; new state deputy Michael, new state motto “open wide the arms for Christ”; soccer challenge, hockey challenge; want to not just recruit, but also mentor new members to help them find program they like, as well as financial benefits, for every 10 new members, 4 pass away
Unfinished Business:
Daniel Garcia met with fr Adriano, still need to sell car raffle tickets, encouraged members to take some; september 21
Festa Junina is next weekend, encouraged members to attend

Scotty will be hosting fundraiser in Clearwater on August 16, contact him if you want to participate; asking members to think of ideas for new events for council; need to reserve hall for fish fries in advance
