Chaplain’s Message:

Out with Covid, although doing fine.

 

Grand Knight Report:

Happy new year. Encouraged everyone to think outside the box for activities we can do. Encouraged everyone to do everything they can think of to recruit.

 

Membership Report:

None

 

Financial Secretary Report:

No bills and no receipts

 

 

Program Director:

Breakfast is cancelled this month, hoping to return in February. Special Olympics Golf Tournament was successful and inspiring. National Special Olympics will be held in Orlando in June.

 

Bills and Communication:

None

 

Faith Director Report:

Altar Server of the month program looking to begin soon.

 

Community Director:

Wanted to recognize Paul Weisner for his work at American Legion, including collecting eye glasses.

 

Life Director:

None, the council still needs a life director.

 

Family Director Report:

Held Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest; two winning selections were presented during meeting; will pass them along to District.

 

Fourth Degree Report:

The assembly continues to provide food to the Ronald McDonald House. The assembly held its Christmas party on December 16 at Sleuth’s; gave Fr Sal an iPad for Christmas. Renewal of vows will take place at next meeting.

 

Insurance Agent Report:

None

 

District Deputy Report:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Brought to the council’s attention prospective members that we are still working on. Regional meeting at Resurrection on Jan 15, 9-noon. Degree Ceremony to follow. Went over various reports he received over Christmas break. Got info on removal process; all MIA members will be moved to one single council (#9700).

 

Unfinished Business:

Big Breakfast hoping to resume on February 13th; will advertise starting at least two weeks prior. Still working on putting together aluminum recycling trailer. Look to emails or the Grand Knight for info on ordering council shirt. Shed cleaning will take place this Saturday, January 8th at 10am.

 

New Business:

Contacted by Respect Life Committee, asked to borrow Church banner for St Augustine event on January 15. Will be collecting eye glasses as a council.
