Grand Knight Report:
State raffle tickets need to be brought back in asap; trilingual rosary has been a success, encouraged members to attend; first and third Thursdays of each month are COR meetings; if we have one of our members becomes a field agent our per capita is waived; Feb 15 at 2pm is Fr Noe’s birthday and going away potluck; sock hop coming up; fish frys are confirmed; degree exemplification is next Wednesday; silver rose on March 4; election of delegates for state convention will take place; will donate to religious ed for confirmation bibles
Bills and Communication:
No bills; survey of activities was turned in
Membership Report:
Hoping for 3-4 people attending degree ceremony; sock hop is recruitment opportunity with recruitment table (would like volunteers, field agent will be there)
Financial Secretary Report:
$200 donations and $90 dues to turn in; voted on $100 for polar plunge but will write $300 check because of additional donations
Treasurer’s Report:
October Balance: $8,580.17
December Receipts: $345

Program Director:
Sock hop will need lots of help, set up begins at 3pm, youth group has some volunteers coming; fish frys coming up on 20th will also need lots of help; ordered 10 degree kits
Faith Director Report:
St. Valentine novena starting on Feb 5; trilingual rosary weekly on Thursday after 8:00 mass; monthly Cor meeting; Feb 21 and 22 at our Lady of the Lakes a relic for St Carlo is being brought in
Community Director:
Promoted Sock Hop to Spanish and Portuguese communities; encouraged all to attend Fr Noe birthday celebration as he is probably being transferred; Feb 18 is Ash Wednesday with masses all day
Life Director:
Began planning next exodus retreat at Lake CI for inmates getting out in next 6 months; Red Sand project (human trafficking) event took place but they are looking to hold more events in the future; breakfast for babies might not happen
Family Director Report:
Altar server paperwork is being wrapped up; completed Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest, submitted two posters; next event will be Easter Egg hunt on 4/12
Fourth Degree Report:
Renewal of vows; Feb 28 is exemplification in St Augustine at Our Lady of La Leche, it will be held at night and outdoors (sight of first catholic mass held in USA)
Insurance Agent Report:
Marcello Catelan (239-287-9866) is our new insurance agent and introduced himself
District Deputy Report:
Encouraged council to hold memorial mass; promoted Sock Hop to other councils; council needs to start thinking about elections; convention is in May, must decide on delegates
Unfinished Business:
No info on Bocce tournament
New Business:
Election of convention delegates, Scotty and Guadalupe with George and Rafael as backups; council voted to donate $600 for confirmation bibles; looking into doing a special mass and cookout on July 4th; thank you to those who brought in lottery tickets for Sock Hop raffle, would like some more
