Membership Report:

Nothing, hoping for more in March, looking to hand something out at Souper Social

 

Financial Secretary Report:

Completed service program report and Winter audit

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Program Director:

Big breakfast coming up as usual, will set up room night before after souper social; fish fry begins on February 16 for 6 weeks, service 4:30-7;00, help begins at 1:30 we received the fryer and it is set up; need extension cords and power strips and soup ladles for souper social, want to use this as opportunity for membership, set up will be 3:00, soup comes starting at 4:00, event begins after 5:00 mass

 

Faith Director Report:

St Isidore of Seville Novena

 

Community Director:

Wants to update council directory; will donate $100 to Habitat for Humanity from big breakfast

 

Life Director:

Laps For Life will be March 2, 2024 at Bishop Moore HS.

 

Family Director Report:

Doing hockey challenge, council and district round on March 30, hosting regional and state round on April 13, will need volunteers

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Renewal of promises on February 12 at meeting; fourth degree exemplification in Parish, FL on March 9

 

Insurance Agent Report:

None

 

District Deputy Report:

Need to elect delegates for state convention: Scotty Kilwein & George Bertsch, Robert Knof & Bob Garrity as alternates

 

Unfinished Business:

School next door allows us to use parking lot next door, could use people to help with guiding parking will start COR program at Resurrection, February 20 at 7:00 in room 5, meeting once or twice a month, possibly Tuesday nights

 

New Business:

Acquired new square card reader; Rob Houghton will be added to the deceased members plaque; will look into gas cost and make donation to church to cover our usage for fish fry

 

Lecturer’s Reflection:

February is black history month, many thought MLK was communist, but he was only concerned with materialism, catholic church and K of C morally supported him; Nelson Mandella was popular among the South Africa population during his imprisonment, become president 1994-1998
