Grand Knight Report:

Welcomed 4 new members into council on November 20th, none were at meeting; thank you to degree team for first degree where 4 new members (and 3 from visiting councils) joined; 4 new potential members, might do new first degree in early January; raffle tickets can be turned in with payment; Immaculate Conception December 8th, five 4th degree members will carry Mary statue, need volunteers for setup, cook, and food service starting at 4pm; light up winter garden is Friday, 12/5, meeting around 5pm; advent retreat on December 20th looking for help with signing people up after masses this weekend; trilingual rosary every Thursday after 8am mass; COR meeting is December 16th at 7pm; still looking for volunteers for Special Olympics golf tournament on 12/13; January 4th is next 4th degree exemplification; outdoor 4th degree exemplification in St Augustine in March; Archbishop Wenski will be at 4th degree exemplification in June in Ft Lauderdale area

 

Bills and Communication:

One for $83 for adoption day event food and one for $166 for trailer rental; no bills from supreme, over quota for new members for the year

 

Membership Report:

Doing well, just welcomed 4 new members at latest degree ceremony; asked brother Ernest to become retention chair

 

Financial Secretary Report:

turning in $45 for dues and $200 for raffle tickets; $100 donated anonymously for lecturer books

 

Treasurer’s Report:

September Balance: $8,542.67

Program Director:

National adoption day featured 16 children being adopted, served breakfast which all went

 

Faith Director Report:

Upcoming Advent related events include reconciliation service on Thursday the 4th, Immaculate Conception on the 8th, Our Lady of Guadalupe on the 12th, The Inn on the 13th, and Advent Retreat on the 20th; trilingual rosary weekly on Thursday after 8:00 mass; monthly Cor meeting

 

Community Director:

Christmas parade float building will begin at noon on Thursday, 12/4, and then 1pm on Friday, followed by costume fitting at 4pm, arrive around 7am on Saturday

 

Life Director:

$1570 in coins for baby bottle drive, money is still coming in ($620 so far) for $7115 total; 31 inmates attended one-day retreat at Lake CI on Saturday, November 8th; JMJ reached out about breakfast for babies event in February with proceeds going to respect life, might team up with other parish; challenge 22 went well with multiple members present and had a really good turnout from the community and for the veterans

 

Family Director Report:

Poster contest began, only received 2 posters so far, 2 weeks of religious ed still happening will keep an eye out for more submissions, need to submit winners in January

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Special Olympic opening ceremonies went well with around 15 knights in regalia; had Slavic diner; bought Omaha steaks for Fr Sal

 

Insurance Agent Report:

None

 

District Deputy Report:

Handful of new programs have been released by supreme, including a Quinceañera, where knights help out with mass and party for anyone celebrating; mid-year meeting coming up in December; motorcycle procession planning for 5pm on 12/6; still serving food for the homeless, last one occurred on day after Thanksgiving; council is at 170% of membership goal

 

Unfinished Business:

Bocce tournament is in holding pattern

 

New Business:

Presented honorary membership card for brother Ernest
