Chaplain’s Message:

None

 

Grand Knight Report:

Thursday was Thanksgiving so focus for the night is gratitude, thanked all the members for all they do, including showing up; thank you to Rafael for bringing in another new member, Diego Florencia, will hopefully attend next meeting; brought up past events, including the 4th Degree Exemplification, big breakfast, Cor meeting, national adoption day; highlighted upcoming events, including big breakfast, December Cor will be postponed, Immaculate Conception mass procession, Winter Garden Christmas parade.

 

Bills and Communication:

Received note and donation from Scotty’s mother in memory of Karen Young.

 

Membership Report:

Still working on meeting membership goals but looking good with a number of potential new members.

 

Financial Secretary Report:

$249 in cash for donation and big breakfast, no bills from supreme, bills for parade candy, bills for toys for parade, bill for convention program.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

October Balance: $12,175.40

November Receipts: $30

November Expenses: $1500

November Balance: $10,705.40

 

Program Director:

Big breakfast is this coming Sunday, extending breakfast for Spanish mass has worked well; fish fries are coming up on first Friday of March, and because of it we will be canceling March and April (Palm Sunday) big breakfasts; thank you to Hank, Kris, Rob Urrutia, Matt, & Vince for helping out with National Adoption Day, event was a success.

 

Faith Director Report:

Cor is doing well (third Tuesday of the month), although December session is canceled; presentation of the Blessed Mother on 12/9 at 5:30 Immaculate Conception mass (meet at 5:00) in Spanish and English; the 4th degree Knights will process with statue of Mary through the church; wear regalia or council shirt.

 

Community Director:

Rafael is new community director; Christmas parade build starts this Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, still in need of people to fill shepherds and kings, will fill those out Saturday morning, encouraged people to attend light up Winter Garden at 6pm this Friday.

 

Life Director:

Thanks to a lot of prayer and work, amendment 4 did not pass, not sure what comes next.

 

Family Director Report:

Collected posters for Keep Christ in Christmas contest, will look through them after meeting, selecting winners.

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Held Bishop Ramza Slovak dinner November 17, it went well; November 30 was 4th degree exemplification at Resurrection also went well for 110 candidates, welcomed Rafael into 4th degree; thank you to Hank, Matt A, Mike M, and Jon Sarta for helping in kitchen during event.

 

Insurance Agent Report:

Apologized for not being able to make it, his girlfriend is in the hospital.

 

District Deputy Report:

Keep working on membership.

 

Unfinished Business:

Sr pat doesn’t need help with giving tree distribution; does need help with parking at Christmas Eve masses, especially between 4:00 & 6:00 masses; considering a Friday night in January for drive-in movie (KofC Mother Theresa movie).

 

New Business:

Scalabrini Motorcycle Tour w/ all three communities is January 11 starting with breakfast at 8, blessing of bikes, then a ride that goes to Yalaha Bakery then returns to the church possibly for lunch.
