Grand Knight Report:

Currently in Quebec representing FL council, thank you to George for stepping in; welcome new pastor to the church, want to be a valuable resource; August holds special significance for order due to Father McGivney; first Monday of September is Labor Day, so meeting moves to third Monday, will also be council officer installation; membership dues need to be paid ($30)

 

Bills and Communication:

$937.89 per state capita bill was paid

 

Membership Report:

Two new members have been transferred from online, Justin and Tyler, became e-members, hoping for new member Daniel, seminarian and assistant in church; hoping to get new pastor in knights; have another potential member George is working on; Richard Sherman reached out to council about gold membership card, Hank has reached out to supreme

 

Financial Secretary Report:

Money from dues to turn in, bills for supreme per capita receipts for convention

 

Treasurer’s Report:

May Balance: $12,408.01

June/July Receipts: $0

June Expenses: $100

July Expenses: $937.80

July Balance: $11,370.21

 

Program Director:

Breakfast will be 8th, not 15th as emailed, will need as much help as possible, breakfast will be extended due to new mass schedule; will need help on September 18th for spaghetti dinner

 

Faith Director Report:

St Gregory the Great novena

 

Community Director:

The position is open; council will probably simply make financial donation to Challenge 22

 

Life Director:

Looking into putting into action some efforts to support voting down amendment 4, will need to speak with new pastor

 

Family Director Report:

Nothing beyond spaghetti dinner

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Lewis is the newest member of the fourth degree; installation of officers will take place September 9th; Rob Urrutia has been named state master for fourth degree; Resurrection will be hosting November 4th degree exemplification on November 30, we will need plenty of help

 

Insurance Agent Report:

None

 

District Deputy Report:

Brand new DD Robert Higgins; new icon (Sacred Heart) will be coming out some time soon; council was ¾ of the way to star council last year, hoping we can make it this year

 

Unfinished Business:

Religious ed is moving again, so we’re free to use rooms 10,11, and 12
