Grand Knight Report:

Mike Crawford passed away last week, was former grand knight of the council, will continue to pray for him and his wife; welcome to new members, Raphael and Guadalupe; thank you for great season of fish frys, it was successful; will be viewing Ed Slott financial webinar as a council after meeting; COR men’s prayer group has had two meetings so far, encourage every member to attend on third Tuesday of each month; tomorrow is last day of novena; hosted youth hockey challenge, had 5 kids participate, will be hosting state championship on April 20, looking for volunteers; still need help with parking ministry for holidays and big mass events; June 1 will be One Church One Family event, the council will host the America table

Membership Report:

Welcomed two new members; Fr Kerber will be transferring into our council

 

Financial Secretary Report:

Made around $2000 in profit from fish frys

 

Treasurer’s Report:

None

 

Program Director:

Big breakfast on 14th, and then mother’s day breakfast, want for people to come up with ideas; getting more involved with special Olympics, May 17-18 event at Disney Wide World of Sports, check online to help out; blood drive sponsored by American legion April 10 in WG

 

Faith Director Report:

St Isidore of Seville Novena March 26-April 4, will look into doing another one in May or June; $600 donation to Sr Pat for religious education bibles

 

Community Director:

Len is still very sick.

 

Life Director:

Working with resurrection respect life, will be doing baby bottle drive in May, and we will help out

 

Family Director Report:

Hockey challenge coming up; easter egg hunt this Sunday after 8:00 mass

 

Fourth Degree Report:

Mike Crawford was member of 4th degree assembly, holding many positions, still waiting on information on service for him; this coming Sunday is devine mercy Sunday at holy family they will special mass at 3:00 with the honor guard present

New Business:

Youth group is saving up to attend stubenville youth conference, will be doing car washes on April 13 will need volunteers and supplies, and selling snow cones after every mass in May (except Mother’s Day), will donate April big breakfast proceeds to youth group; will look into increasing fish fry prices next year

 

Lecturer’s Reflection:

Reflected on Michael Crawford, will add his name to the deceased members plaque; looked into purchasing a new plaque for $225 plus 5.50 per name added or 406 for plaque with name additions prepaid, will look into options for hanging second plaque
